Not sure which one you need?
You do not need to know the name of the problem to call us. “There is water coming through the kitchen ceiling” or “the downstairs toilet gurgles when the bath empties” is plenty to go on. We will ask a few questions, tell you what we think is happening and give you a free quote.
A lot of plumbing problems are linked. A leak under a bath can be a failed seal, a loose waste fitting or a split pipe. A gurgling toilet can be a blocked drain or a venting problem. That is why we prefer to talk it through rather than ask you to choose from a list.
What we do not do
We keep to plumbing, drains and the water side of central heating. We are clear about that so you can get the right person first time.
- Gas. We do not work on gas boilers, cookers, fires or gas pipes. Use a Gas Safe registered engineer. If you smell gas, call 0800 111 999.
- Electrics. Where a job involves an electric shower or a pump, we handle the water side and an electrician makes the electrical connection.
- Sewers that are not yours. If a blockage is in a shared sewer, it is usually Wessex Water’s responsibility. We will tell you if that looks likely.
Homes we work in
We work in houses, flats and rented homes around Soundwell, Staple Hill, Kingswood, Downend, Fishponds and Hanham.
